Multi-category tags

2400

Most new Revit users will make a unique Tag for Doors, Windows, Floors, etc, that will all tag a single parameter such as Type Mark.
This is fine if each of these Tags need to graphically look different. i.e. Font, Size, Linework.

But, what if all these Tags which tag the Type Mark all look the same?

Instead, try creating a single Multi-Category Tag. This will greatly reduce your Tag family quantities in your content library.

Your content library could now contain a separate Multi-Category Tag for commonly tagged parameters such as;

  • Description
  • Manufacturer
  • Mark
  • Model
  • Type Mark
